From working in different businesses, we have found that often it’s difficult – if not impossible – to make time to train, develop and nurture your ‘up and coming stars’.
What do we mean by this? Well, you may very well have your own talent pool, but if you’re not careful and look after them, you may find those valuable employees looking outside of your business for their next career move.
An external mentor or coach can offer this dedicated one-on-one development – and if you pick someone who has been in the same position as the person being mentored it can be even more effective – we can offer real life advice from having been in junior marketing positions at the start of our careers.
If you have the time to carry out your own communications activities, but need someone to guide you or offer support, then our mentoring service may be what you need. This service will suit business owners, newly-established or developing marketing managers and more junior communications teams that need some managerial support.
Having held a number of senior management roles over the last 15 years, Sharon Milner has the skills, the experience and the enthusiasm to offer mentoring to enable you to take your team’s skills to the next level. Not only will it be good news for your business, but you’ll also have staff who feel valued from the additional training that they are receiving, whilst in a work situation.
We can provide weekly mentoring on a face-to-face basis and thereafter we can continue to support your team with a telephone/email helpline service and / or editing/proofing of work for an hourly fee.
